PAYMENT

1. When is payment due?
   Payment is due at the time of registration.
    
2. What happens if I don’t pay at the time of registration?
   If payment is not made at the time that you register, you will be dropped from your courses without notice and IF the courses are still “open” for enrollment you will reenroll.
    
3. How do I ensure my payment is processed?
   After method of payment has been submitted, check fee statement balance and printout a copy. This will ensure that your method of payment was processed.

1. What if I have problems with Web Registration?
   Call the HCC Help Desk at 713.718.8800, or the Distance Education Office at 713.718.5275.

COURSES

1. Where can I review the list of courses offered through the HCC Distance Education Program?
   Review the HCC class schedule, click here.
    
2. Are all Distance Education courses offered online?
   No. HCC offers videocassette and online courses. Refer to the semester class schedule or the HCC DE website for specific information about each course.
    
3. How do I find out if a course is full or still open for enrollment?
   To view schedule of classes, start at the HCC Homepage

   1. Click on “View Schedule”
   2. Click on “Semester Credit”
   3. Click on “View Schedule of Classes”
   4. Choose the semester and year.
      • (Select SCH – if you want to enroll in college-credit level HCC Distance Education courses.)
   5. Subject Area
      • Enter the subject or click on the “Lookup” button next to the subject area.
   6. Catalog Number
      • Enter the catalog number, for example, 2301 for ACCT 2301.

   7. Classes Open for Enrollment Only
      • Place a check mark.
   8. College
      • Leave blank
   9. Location
      • Distance Education (for Internet based or video based courses)

       • click the yellow search button located at the bottom of the page
          
       The courses available for enrollment will populate the screen.
        
       • Verify course and mode of instruction.
       • Seats available are shown on the top right hand side of screen.
       • Verify the start date.
       • Read class notes for special instructions.
