What is Early Alert? Early Alert (EA) is a collaborative effort between professors and counselors to help students who are at risk of failing one or more of their classes at HCC. Recommended Steps for Utilizing EA: 1. Identify student(s) at risk
2. Whenever possible, professors should first discuss the concern with the student. 3. Complete the Early Alert form for each student referral.
4. Contact Mrs. Carmen Gentry with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
